At Hogwarts, Harry meets his teachers, and becomes friends with Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). The three of them accidentally find out that the potions master, Severus Snape (Alan Rickman), seems to plot on stealing something that is guarded by a three-headed dog. Since nobody would believe some first years to have found out such important things that even would incriminate a Hogwarts teacher, they take it on themselves to find out what Snape is up to. Secondly, the ambiguity of the movie opens it up to multiple interpretations, and gives film with a lasting impact on the viewer. Personally, I think a movie that has you thinking about its meaning far beyond your first viewing experience is a great movie. For example, to some viewers the movie seems to suggest that the movie itself was all a dream, but to others it may not seem so. But there is evidence for both sides. An example for the former theory is when Cobb returns to his children, and they tell him that they"ve been building a "house on a cliff" which is strongly associated with Saito"s dreams (another secondary character) hinting at the possibility of the movie ending in a dream. However, evidence also points to the contrary, such as Cobb"s wedding ring only appearing in scenes that are dreams. It"s the ambiguity that allows the movie to resonate with its viewers, and it"s why the film is so widely praised. Furthermore, the soundtrack deserves its share in credit. Not only does it take risks by being a pronounced part of many emotional scenes, but it was actually crafted from a single piece of music: the "French song" that signifies the end of a dream. Overall, despite its shortcomings in character development, I think this film deserves much of its critical praise, because it is complex enough to to satisfy a viewer many times over.

Tarantino"s Pulp Fiction is pure perfection. Not only is it highly original, humorous it also has no plot holes. And that"s amazing considering it"s warped time line.
It"s quite rare to have a film so free of holes. The only thing I can think of is that the adrenaline needle scene is pure imagination. Mia would have not awaken from that because the needle would never pierce her chest bone.

Another trick that QT has bestowed on us through his dialogue is softening our expectations for carnage and violence by having his characters discuss Royal With Cheeses and TV Pilots right before Vince and Jules quickly kill 4 guys in an apartment.

It Chapter Two is long but does not bore us. There are no scary moments other than one or two jump scares. In fact, there is more humour than scare in this scary movie. James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, James Ransone did good job but it was Bill Hader and Skarsgard who stole the show. The making of the film is also good with some very good shots. Overall, this movie is watchable for the ones who liked the first part even though I"m sure they won"t like this as much as the first part.

Had pretty cringey moments throughout. A lot of the scenes made no sense, because it seemed like they were just fillers or made longer so that the movie was longer. As a drama, it was pretty good. As a comedy, it was pretty great. As a horror movie? Not even close. There are some gruesome scenes, but they are so quick that they don"t have much of an impact. I wanted to love IT Chapter 2 so badly, but the reviews were sadly right.
